Rock Opera about U.S. Militarism, Finale: Blessed are the Peacemakers

Using my own lyrics and Udio.com for the music, I created a rock opera about U.S. militarism. Part One, a short history of U.S. wars since WWII, is Rock Opera about U.S. Militarism, Part One. Part Two, on the war in Ukraine, is here. This is the finale:

So shame on those who believe the lies,
That this time itโ€™s different, this war is fine.
Hypocrisy is us, weโ€™re the masters of spin,
We provoke foreign crimes while hiding our own sins.

[Bridge]
We don't need no provocations.
We don't need no proxy wars.
Stop regime change operations.
End pro-war thought control.

[Chorus]
End the wars, end the lies.
Listen to the peoples' cries.
Stop the weapons, end the greed.
Peace is what we really need.

Beat your swords into plowshares.

Protect me from the violent who ... stir up wars continually.

Guide our feet into the path of peace.

Make Love, Not War.
The answer is blowin in the wind.
We Shall Overcome.

Peace is patriotic.
Give peace a chance.
Blessed are the peacemakers!
