Endless War Blues (in the style of Motown)

Using Udio.com for the music, I created this blues song about endless wars.

They say we're fightin' to keep the world free,
But all I see is profits and endless misery.
They say we're threatened by some new enemy.
But we provoked them, in reality.

I've got the endless war blues,
I see through their lies,
It’s all for greed and power,
While the innocents die.

They provoke the flames, stir up the fight,
Callin' it defense, but it just ain’t right.
Jingoism’s their weapon, they use it well,
Sendin' us to war, while they live swell.

They deceive us with their patriotic songs,
But we know we’ve been played all along.
For the rich man’s gain, the poor man dies,
Caught in the web of their endless lies.

(Instrumental section)

The bombs keep fallin in some foreign land,
It's all for profit, that’s the true demand.
They say it’s noble, for democracy,
But we know it's for the plutocracy.

So here I am, singin' endless war blues, yeah, the endless war blues, the endless war blues....
