A Prayer for Gaza

Using Udio.com for the music, I created this prayer for peace in Gaza.

In Gaza’s streets, the shadows loom,
A land once bright now steeped in doom.
The cries of anguish fill the air,
As hope grows faint in deep despair.

The children’s laughter fades away,
Replaced by fear at break of day.
In shattered homes and broken dreams,
The pain of war in silence screams.

The ground is stained with blood and tears.
The war makes real our greatest fears.
Each life a thread in sorrow's weave,
A tapestry of loss we grieve.

Yet through the dark, a prayer is cast,
That peace will come, that war won’t last.
For in the end, the war must cease,
And Gaza’s heart will know its peace.
